  1.       What is your background and experience in education prior to coming to CHS?

I spent five years as an Assistant Principal and Special Education Supervisor at Oakcrest and Absegami High Schools in Atlantic County. Prior to my administrative role, I was a Special Education teacher at Robbinsville High School and in the Lindenwold School District. In addition to my teaching career, I have spent over 20 years coaching Football, Boys’ Basketball and Boys Lacrosse at a number of high schools in Philadelphia and South Jersey including six years as the Head Boy’s Lacrosse Coach at Robbinsville.

  1.       What made you come to CHS?

When I decided to look for a position closer to home, I immediately looked at CHS based on the exceptional reputation of the district throughout South Jersey with both academics and athletics.

  1.       What do you have to offer to the students of CHS?

My experience in the classroom, as an administrator and as a coach has provided me the opportunity to have worked with a wide range of students and programs. With that also comes experience with difficult and the not-so-ordinary situations. I hope I can lend my advice and knowledge to our students when necessary.

  1.       What drove you to become a teacher?

I always wanted to work with high school students which was a result of my great experiences in high school. My father also had an influence on my decision as he was a long-time, high school football coach and I wanted to follow in his footsteps.

  1.       Outside of teaching what are your interests?

As a father of two boys (ages 8 & 6), my hobbies are limited to Legos, Star Wars and Marvel Avengers!!! I am actively involved in the Delran Athletic Association coaching various sports and both of my boys are also involved in the Cinnaminson Lacrosse program. My family (wife Jennifer, sons Drew and Danny) enjoys spending time at the beach and I try to get out on the golf course a few times a year.
