This year, the Ship’s Log will be running a brief feature on all new teachers and educational staff.  We have tried to pare down the information about the staff member and are including all the pertinent information about that staff member that he/she has shared with us.

 

Name – Kayla Arni

Subject Taught – Social Studies

Grades Taught – Freshmen Modern World History/Upper Classman Human Behavior

  1. What is your background and experience in education prior to coming to CHS?

I taught Psychology and Sociology at Clearview Regional High School last year.

 

  1. What made you come to CHS?

The school and community made it an easy decision to come to Cinnaminson. I felt welcome from the very start.

 

  1. What do you have to offer to the students of CHS?

I think that I can offer the students of CHS an opportunity to really enjoy studying History and Human Behavior.

 

  1. What drove you to become a teacher?

I think my love of learning is what made me want to become a teacher. I think education is one of the biggest advantages someone can have, and I wanted to be a part of the process.

 

  1. Outside of teaching what are your interests?

I really enjoy music, I can’t play anything, but I spend a lot of time listening and going to concerts. I also enjoying being outside as much as possible.
